Lal Tibba is one of Mussoorie’s most serene viewpoints, famous for its panoramic sights of the snow-clad Himalayas, quaint cafés, and peaceful atmosphere. From here, on a clear day, you can spot majestic peaks through mounted telescopes while soaking in cool mountain air and pine-scented breezes. It’s perfect for sunrise and sunset lovers, photographers, and anyone who wants to slow down, sip chai, and simply admire nature’s vast canvas.
I started the morning with a calm ride towards Lal Tibba, enjoying the winding roads and deodar-lined hills. On reaching the viewpoint, I spent time at the telescope point, spotting distant Himalayan ranges and tiny villages tucked into the valleys. We clicked photos, sat at a cozy café with hot tea and light snacks, and just let the silence and wide-open views sink in. The cool breeze, the soft sunlight, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like time had slowed down. After soaking in the views and capturing a bunch of memories, we headed back towards the main market with a lighter heart and a gallery full of sky and mountain shots!
